Chihuahua April Meeting

“ We weren't able to arrive there on time because not everyone was home. It was Taco's third time he had ever been to a dog park. It think this was his best experience. All the dogs were itty-bitty and none of them ran at him. I'm glad to say it's the first time I saw him stiff another dog's butt! I felt comfortable letting him off leash and I don't think he did any damage at all, not even his normal growls; although he did hide behind our legs, but I still give him credit for improving! I hope several more meet ups will do the trick and get him to make a friend or two ^_^ What I didn't like was the set up of the dog park itself. It ws so hot! I should have brought along an umbrella or two or maybe a large cloth to tie across the fences to make a nice large shelter! =) ”
