The only question I have is:

WHY?? What is the reason to breed your dog. Is it money? Is it because he's cute and you want to pass that on? Is it because you have a friend that wants a designer dog and cant find one? Is it his temperment?

HAVE THAT DOG NEUTERED AND LET IT LIVE A LONG HAPPY LIFE.

I am the owner of a chi-jack male and am looking to breed him, can anyone help me find a female?

Check the local kill shelters & petfinder.com - there are THOUSANDS of chi mixes out there already. If you breed your dog, you are consciously adding to the pet overpopulation & taking homes away from dogs that need homes now. By breeding your dog, you are essentially condemning an existing dog to death, because every puppy born takes a home away from a poor, homeless dog. If you can live with that, then breed your dog. If you want to be responsible & help fix the problem rather than add to it, then don't breed your dog.

Now, the natural response is something like, "it's my dog - I have the right to do what I want with him". While it's true you do have the right to breed your dog, you also have the right to do a lot of other irresponsible things - the right to break the law, etc. However, just because a person has the right to do something does not mean they should do it.

I think a regular lurker creates a new screen name and writes a question like this to stir things back up.

That is an interesting theory Shannon - I wonder why on earth someone would do that? Do people really have nothing better to do?

sadly, yes, some people have nothing better to do and like it when there is chaos or bickering going on. I saw it a lot when I had AOL and used to do chat rooms or message boards there, just silly stuff people would do. I haven't been in a chat room in years but I see a lot of it still on message boards. This one is actually pretty tame compared to a lot that are out there!
