After much thought I have decided to start this group in order to socialize my dogs more, and hope other will do the same for the social well being of their furry children.  Its fun for us and the dogs!              

This meetup is dedicated to new dog owners who want to socialize their pups during the two critical stages of puppy SOCIAL development which will determine how well adjusted their dogs will be on/off leash with other dogs for the rest of their lives.

This group is for well socialized small dogs of all breeds up to 12 pounds. The meet-ups will be held in in-door spaces of doggy day care centers. We will have open space to play for the dogs and dog snacks and people snacks. There will be drawings for prizes at each meet-up.

The purpose of this group is to provide socialization and play time for small dogs under 12 pounds in a safe indoor venue. We will meet periodically in various Dog Day care Centers around Manhattan. This group is a play group only that is geared toward the shy dog who needs to gain socialization skills, active dogs who need more play time with other dogs, puppies who need to learn to play with other dogs and owners who wish to socialize their dogs and meet with other dog owners.

Where owners of all small and toy breed dogs can get together and have play dates, share advice and friendship -- all non-aggressive, vaccinated, spayed/neutered (or under 7 months old) dogs under 12 lbs are welcome! Courtesies: - no food/treats for the doggies (many little ones are on dietary restrictions bcz of allergies & food may bring out food aggression) - please pick up after your dog; I will provide paper towels and Nature's Miracle. We are interested in having social and fun activities for small dogs and their owners.

The reason for my starting this group-I am a stay at home mom with an 11 month old daughter and a 9 year old Chihuahua who is also like my baby.   I have found since my daughter was born last May, I have spent a little less time with my fur baby. So my thought was to create a group where we can meet at a local park with our babies and dogs and go for walks/hikes as well as get to know other Moms with like interests.
